HISTORICAL EVENT: OUR CHURCH IS CANONICAL & OFFICIALLY HAS BEEN GIVEN AUTOCEPHALY-TOMOS
On Sunday the 6th January 2019 (Holy Theophany) in Constantinople at the Ecumenical Patriarchate, our Metropolitan and canonical first hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Epiphanios concelebrated for the first time with His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and during the service the Holy Tomos was given to Metropolitan Epihanios by the hands of His Holiness Bartholomew, having been signed the evening before after a Doxology. This finalised the process of grating Autocephaly and placed our Orthodox Church of Ukraine officially on the canonical worldwide Dyptichs of Orthodoxy! Our Churches, priests, flock worldwide have been restored, our church is officially recognised in canonical Orthodoxy. This Historical event was covered in the worldwide media and in todays newspaper the Greek Herald in Australia, our church is also specifically mentioned:) Glory to God!
